Detroit Rocks!

Recently, I had got a wonderful opportunity to vist DETROIT in state of Michigan, US. The city which pioneered and changed the Motor industry in US. The only city in entire US which looks South to Canada!!! Also it stands among one of the Top most Dangerous cities in US with lots of incidents of rape, murder, robbery, shoot outs etc etc., Somehow the downtown area looked so deserted which was in support to the title DANGEROUS CITY. I am not sure if it is because of the bitter winter or due to the fears of danger. The most fascinating experience for me was to stand in front of the Renaissance Center [which is the tallest building in Detroit accomodating the Global Headquarters of General Motors] and to see the city of Windsor in Canada across the roaring Detroit River. The best ever experience for me to be in one country and see the other. I wish I had Canada Visa :( I was so close to Canada, yet so far.

Another day, I decided to become a kid all again by visiting the Detroit Science Center located in the campus of Wayne State University. This is of course not a place to be missed. The setting reminds you of the good old days of Physics, Chemisty and Biology. The place has the largest screen theater IMAX in Michigan. On the topmost floor lies a planetarium. There is also a 4D toyota Engineering theater where in you get the real 4D experience. If you get a chance, just visit the place, its fun. Luckily the snow was not that bad, so have to say, a decent trip. I am adding a few nice photos of the place. I am adding a few snaps of Detroit, Enjoy!!!
